Once again socialism is on the political agenda! From the cover of Newsweek to news programs on TV, the word socialism has become commonplace. Yet, most of these references to socialism have very little to do with the ideas of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. What is the real socialist tradition? What are the politics of revolutionary socialism? This study series will introduce you to the revolutionary socialist tradition—its birth and development in various contexts, its theories, and its application to practice and struggle.

The study group will be held every two weeks from 5 to 7pm at The NYU Puck Building, 295 Lafayette Street (just south of Houston Street) on the 4th floor.
