Meeting of the Grassroots Education Movement (GEM)

Come to a meeting of the Grassroots Education Movement (GEM) Tuesday, August 11. Join a discussion with teachers and parents from throughout the city.
• How can we oppose charter schools' attack on public education and neighborhood schools through mayoral control, like is taking place at PS 123 and PS 15?
• Parents and teachers are already mounting a defense against the invasion of Harlem Success Academy into PS 123's building. Read Juan Gonzalez's article on the topic here.
