Agenda Items: Arizona's Bigoted New Law, Fund-raising for Socialism 2010
Arizona's new anti-immigrant law is a frightening expression of right wing scapegoating in a time of economic insecurity. At the same time the law has re-energized the immigrants rights movement. Join us for a discussion of the politics of immigration and how we can contribute at Hunter to the growing "boycott Arizona" movement. Then stick around to help us make fund-raising plans to help insure than low-income students and workers can attend the awesome Socialism 2010 conference this summer in Chicago.
